Rockstar, in my opinion, is one of the greats. Known for their amazing storylines, huge sales and slightly less than great treatment of employees. They're also the only game company on three different generations of console and to continue to rake in revenue 7 years after release.
Rockstar has a unique history, having been aquired by Take Two and with connections to BMG interactive. The company is split into multiple subsidiaries, across multiple countries. The most well known of these being Rockstar North, Rockstar Torono & Rockstar International.
Rockstar Games has been around since 1998 and have played an integral part in helping matuer the industry with long lasting games, mechanics and slightly less great practises (*cough* microtransactions). Pioneering large open world, story driven games to the point where a multitude of studios of all shapes and sizes have attempted to replicate with varying levels of success (the latest being Mafia III, didn't go so well).
Rockstar has created a total of 54 games across their varies studios with the majority (33) coming from their most experienced, Rockstar North. These 54 games include:
Grand Theft Auto Series & Online
Austin Powers Series
Midnight Club Series
Bully
Red Dead Series
L.A Noire
Manhunt
Max Payne
+ Much more
Rockstar are known for being a secrative company, with all employees told not to talk to the press and the entire studio shrouded in mystery. You only know what Rockstar want you to know. So in typical Rockstar fashion their career section was difficult to find, in fact there was no hyperlink to be found on their front page, instead you have to type: https://www.rockstargames.com/jobs/ and it'll redirect you. Once this has loaded up you can view all open positions within each subsidiary:
Much like Valve, Rockstar has high standards for their developers - commonly requiring a degree in the related field and at least three years working in said field. That said, aside this they tend to remain fairly vague, likely to entice as wide a net of candidates as possible.
